The Firm (Pharma (Sales & Marketing only)) is expanding its presence in Japan via innovative drug entity launches. The firm requires strong financial analysts them to assist to drive growth and as FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team to manage all aspects of FP&A. The financial analyst functions as a business partner for the business owners and the team reports into Japan CFO

Primary responsibilities
* Finance Analyst for assigned business area of the firm (Pharma (Sales & Marketing) only)
Analysis of financial and operating results and proactive management of forecasts based upon actual information
* Effectively partner with key senior management of assigned area in strategic decision-making through providing financial analysis and recommendations, in accordance with the firm Priorities
* Control all financial outputs from assigned business area
* Coordinate development of short-range forecasts according to 8 rolling forecasting cycle. Build and streamline data collection process
*High-level OPEX line item tracking, Plan/Forecast vs. Actual
* Detailed actual tracking (Operational level) is supposed to be primarily managed on business owner side, and financial analyst is to assist their operation or provide financial advise as required
* Manage budget transfer
* Perform variance analysis and provide insightful recommendation for management
* Preparation of OPEX plan and related analysis for the P&L
* Coordinate Business Case analysis (Product Sales, OPEX What-if, etc.)
* Coordinate development of long-range plan and manage related activities
* Drive quality initiatives throughout Finance
* Liaise with Corp Finance regarding 8 rolling forecasting and submission
* Support Business Leader of assigned area
* Model the Vital Behaviour in applicable situations

The successful candidates are from US top 15 MBA or Europe top 5 MBA and have strong career history of global accounting firm or companies.

Salary range is 8-14million yen

Certifications and Special Requirements

対象年齢 -35
* Solid business perspective, FP&A experience preferred
* At least 5 years business experience
* Strong quantitative, financial, problem solving and presentation preparation skills
* Clear oral & written communication skills
* Fluent in both English & Japanese
* BS in Finance / Accounting, Economics or related degree
* Advanced Excel and Financial modelling skills
* Intricate knowledge of general accounting systems, structure and processes
